Banig Bar - Botanical Soap

Banig Bar is a bold black cold-process soap made with activated charcoal, tea tree, peppermint, and eucalyptus, inspired by both the woven Filipino banig and the mats of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Activated charcoal gives the bar its deep black color and helps adsorb excess oil and surface impurities, while tea tree, peppermint, and eucalyptus give it a crisp, herbal, cooling character that feels especially satisfying after training.

The name ties together two kinds of mats: the traditional woven banig of the Philippines and the BJJ mats where rounds are drilled, fought, and earned.

Made with Buhay Botanika’s proprietary blend of nourishing oils, grass-fed tallow, and shea butter for a rich, creamy lather.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of grass-fed tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and castor oil; water; activated charcoal; kaolin clay; essential oils of tea tree, peppermint, and eucalyptus.
